‍UX Experience on Products, Delivering Designs within Scope and Timeline

UX Designers at fjorge are responsible for delivering high-quality designs within specified project scope and timeline. They strongly understand user needs and business requirements to create impactful designs. They have experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of designs. 

Executing Development-ready Designs

At fjorge, our UX Designers have a deep knowledge of design tools and software, including Figma and Adobe Suite, enabling them to create pixel-perfect designs. They demonstrate a strong understanding of front-end development principles such as HTML, CSS, and Javascript, incorporating best practices to ensure seamless collaboration with the development team.

Following the UX Core Process

Our UX Designers conduct thorough user research to gather valuable insights and identify user needs. They translate these findings into tangible solutions by creating wireframes and high-fidelity designs or prototypes. They demonstrate a strong grasp of information architecture and interaction design principles, ensuring an intuitive and engaging user experience. By applying user-centered design principles from start to finish, they create products that truly resonate with their intended users.

Design Quality Assurance

At fjorge, our UX Designers have the ability to conduct comprehensive design reviews to ensure quality and consistency with their designs. They have a strong understanding of accessibility guidelines and stands, making inclusivity a priority in their designs. To validate the effectiveness of their solutions, they actively engage in usability testing, leveraging real user feedback to refine and optimize the user experience.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in designing UX on projects from start to launch, including design quality assurance
• Proficiency in modern design tools like Figma and Adobe CC
• Experience creating development-ready user interfaces
• Experience in the creation and scalability of design systems and libraries
• Familiarity with agile product development methodologies
• Ability to lead and collaborate with a wide variety of stakeholders and colleagues

Nice to Have

• 5+ years of UX design experience
• 3+ years of leadership and management experience
• Experience working on a cross-functional agile team
• Scrum UX certification
• Experience in or strong motivation to develop skills in scheduling and managing resources, ensuring projects with varying budgets, timelines, and scope can be delivered successfully 
• Expertise in designing large-scale digital products
• Experience working with design systems
• Working proficiency in HTML/CSS/Javascript
• Expertise in web accessibility and how design choices can meet the various WCAG levels
